ROUND TRIP
A short autobiographical comic about friendship, distance, and reunion.
The narrative is framed as a pinball machine, where two pinballs travel through different paths before eventually crossing again. However, this pinball machine offers no prizes and has nothing to do with gambling. Instead, it centers on the sincerity, playfulness, and genuine connection found in friendship.
At a time when so many stories focus on romantic love, I feel that friendship is equally meaningful and precious. It can be just as moving, just as romantic in its own way, and just as worthy of celebration.
